The result is a fast, clean multi-currency converter focused on a single core task: instant input, clear focus, and effortless comparison.
Cursic is Swiss-inspired an iOS app — a multi-currency converter designed as a small, focused digital product.

Cursic started as a tool I wanted to use myself.
🙅
I wasn’t trying to reinvent the category.
💁
There are many currency converter apps available on the App Store, and functionally they solve the same basic problem.
🙋
I wanted a clean and fast interface, focused on the core task, without visual noise or unnecessary steps.

Currency app
Editing a value requires navigating to an additional screen, while I was aiming for fewer screens and more direct input.
The overall design is clean and functional, but the interaction felt slower for my use case.

Reordering currencies requires removing and adding them again, and drag-and-drop is not available.

Ads also affect the overall experience.
XE
While drag-and-drop is available, selecting a currency does not change its position in the list.

When working with a longer list of currencies, this requires scrolling both up and down to compare values, which made the interaction feel less focused for me.
The app offers a wide range of features, but many of them are not relevant to my everyday use.

Adding new currencies is less intuitive: the add button is placed at the bottom, making it harder to find when the list grows.

While exchange rates update automatically, changes are not visually emphasized, making the list feel more static.
Clear Currency Management.
The currency selection sheet follows the same logic: already added currencies are visible immediately, and adding or managing them does not require searching for hidden buttons or navigating long lists.
Micro-interactions.
Drag-and-drop reordering
and gesture-based removal.
Appearance Settings.
Choose a color theme and switch between regular and compact list layouts to match your preferences and fit more currencies on screen.
Live Exchange Updates.
Exchange rates update automatically when a meaningful rate change occurs, and visual deltas show how values change over time, making the list feel alive rather than static.
Instant Primary Currency.
When a currency is selected, it immediately becomes the primary one: it moves to the top of the list, the value is highlighted, and the keyboard appears instantly.

This makes it clear which currency is active and allows changing values without additional screens, confirmations, or extra steps.

The active currency stays fixed at the top, so comparison happens through a simple, one-directional scroll. There is no need to search for the selected value across the list.
